The third part of FromSoftware’s punishing trilogy of open-world RPGs, Dark Souls 3, is set in a dismal and merciless world abounding with monstrous foes and challenging bosses. Boss design in the usual FromSoftware fashion gives you no quarter: many retries should be expected until you fully master your combat skills.
Dark Souls 3 contains a total of 25 bosses, each of which offers a unique challenge through which your skill, patience, and strategy are tested ever again. Each boss killed in the game helps to create your character’s journey through Lothric as well as your journey as a player. Also, while it might not be mandatory to defeat every single boss in a game to complete it, fortunately, you can skip quite a few before facing the very last enemy.

ludex Gundyr

Vordt of the Boreal Valley

Crystal Sage
Crystal Sage is the nightmare of all melee class players. An assortment of deadly spells coupled with teleport makes this elusive boss run around in circles while shredding deadly damage to the player.
Not that, Crystal Sage, in the second phase, brings forth an army from the starting wave to add to this already shapeless nightmare of a boss.
Abyss Watchers
This fanatical kind of fight makes it worse. You fight one enemy first and then two more to join the combat, suddenly pouncing on you from both sides. Coordination and skill will definitely be needed to take down this boss, and it may take a lot of practice and perhaps some luck, too.
Upon defeating them, the Abyss Watchers offer their Cinders of a Lord along with some Soul of Blood of the Wolf.
Deacons of the Deep
Following Abyss Watchers, the next in DS3 boss order is Deacons of the Deep. Some ghoulish undead clerics will be quite the handful for you! Focus on the single cleric surrounded by a red glow, while the rest of the clerics continue shielding it and attacking you. The fight will have lots of movement, so I hope you put a few points into stamina.
High Lord Wolnir
The next part in Dark Souls 3 Bosses in order is High Lord Wolnir. Honestly, High Lord Wolnir isn’t too difficult a fight, but he does have a ton of health. Besides your standard sweep attacks and your summoned skeletons, he’s got chains shackling him down that can be broken, which makes this fight trivially easy.
Old Demon King
This hellish creature will assault the players from every angle with physical and fire attacks. Dodging all the assaults will remain a tough task, albeit the fighting does ease up as you go.
Pontiff Sulyvahn
This kind of multi-enemy fight will give you the full feeling that you are indeed playing a Dark Souls game. Pontiff himself is a lot, but he’ll even summon another you have to deal with through the entire battle. This boss really makes you do a lot to dodge.
Yhorm the Giant
Yhorm will simply stomp the ground with any simple mistake you might make and swipe at you with his gigantic weapon throughout the fight. I guess the best strategy in here is slow-and-steady-wins-the-race. Do not get too greedy, for Yhorm easily punishes simple mistakes.
Aldrich, Devourer of Gods
Aldrich could be the first genuine hardcore boss, even for the veterans of Dark Souls. His attacks, combined with the ability to use life steal, create a fearsome monster. One should have patience and should toss when the timing is right.
Dancer of the Boreal Valley
This boss has honed the art of sword-fighting to the point of transforming it into a dance of death. Compared to other large and lumbering bosses in Dark Souls 3, the Dancer is quick and lethal, causing death almost instantaneously with precise strikes.
This fight cannot be won through brute-force tactics. Instead, learn the boss’s moves and strike at constellations to grab a shot at victory.
Dragonslayer Armour
The next in the Dark Souls 3 final boss order is Dragonslayer Armour. This animated armor is something to be feared. The Dragonslayer Armor fights with both his weapon and his shield to hit you directly, often in nasty combos to one-shot unsuspecting players. Proceed with care!
Oceiros, the Consumed King
Oceiros promises to be one of the more entertaining fights for multiple reasons. First, he is an exceptionally stylish boss who chats a great deal, and every single attack pattern completely changes with each phase.
His first phase involves a lot of AoE attacks that you can avoid or block, but things really get out of control in the second phase. So you will need your thinking cap if you want to make it against the boss.
Champion Gundyr
Now, Gundyr has returned to do battle against the player, but this time he is a much more powerful version of himself. He is a lot faster now than he was before; he uses quicker slashes to throw players off balance. If dodging doesn’t work, you could try landing a parry stun for an easy co takeover.
Lothric, Younger Prince
It’s a battle between two brothers who happen to be princes- Lothric, the younger prince, and Lorian, the elder prince. The most effective way of taking down this boss is to separate the two brothers to give you a little time to breathe and get a few hits in. However, it is not as easy as it sounds, so you will need to put in hours of practice before you can beat the two of them.
Ancient Wyvern
The Original Wyvern is actually a pretty good boss fight. Like any dragon boss from any other game, he breathes fire and swipes his tail throughout the fight. Not much else to it. Bring it down and take some exposed head shots to finish it very quickly.
Nameless King
The fight with the Nameless King is one hell of a fight. Like several other Dark Souls 3 bosses, this boss has two different sections. In the first phase of fighting him, he flies on his wyvern and from above attacks you with lightning strikes, but once you get him to land, the true fight begins.
He is very quick and deadly, so one has to act fast if one doesn’t wish to be cut in two. If one can consistently stagger the Nameless King, one’s chances of defeating him will increase substantially.
Soul of Cinder
The final boss of Dark Souls 3 is the Soul of Cinder, the very last of all the Lords of Cinder. Beating him may first seem like an impossible feat because he has self-healing in phase one, but with plenty of persistence and grinding down health fast, he transitions into phase two, where you’ll no longer have to contend with healing but rather a fresh set of other frightening abilities.
