Neil Bhatt was born on August 4, 1987, to Sunita and Himanshu Bhatt. Bhatt did his schooling at Jasudben M. L. School, Mumbai, and pursued law from Jitendra Chauhan College of Law, Mumbai. Although Bhatt studied law, his passions have always been acting and dancing, and only a few know that apart from being an actor, he is also a dancer and choreographer. In an interview with the Times of India, he stated that education will always serve him well.
He is an expert in gymnastics and capoeira. He has also learnt the art of having a flexible body. His family was supportive of his career choices and encouraged him to pursue his passion, and he participated and won in the dance reality show Kaboom. Since then, there is no turning back in his life.

Although he appeared in the 2009 released Bollywood film, Gulaal, and Fast Forward, his debut was in 2017 as a lead in the Gujarati film, Bhanwar, where he choreographed the songs and told the unseen tale of a folk puppeteer in modern Gujarat.
In 2018, he was seen in a negative role in the Colors TV show Roop – Mard Ka Naya Swaroop, which also bagged him an award. From October 2020, he played the lead in Star Plus’s Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein until the show took a generational leap.
